15 Year-Old 1L With 174 LSAT And CPA Plans To Be A Tax Lawyer And Tax Professor

New Orleans Times-Picayune, 'Once-in-a-Generation Level Talent': This 15-Year-Old is a New Orleans Law Student and a CPA:

Jimmy 2James “Jimmy” Chilimigras is a typical first-year law student in many ways. He gets called on by professors in class, he spends hours in the library, and lugs around textbooks about Louisiana civil code.

He’s also 15 years old.

Chilimigras, a native of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, began attending Loyola Law School this fall after completing a bachelor's and master's degree and passing the Certified Public Accountant exam. He's attending Loyola on a merit-based full scholarship. ... He earned a 174 out of 180 on the LSAT, an excellent score considered in the 99th percentile. ...

With his passage of the CPA earlier this year, many believe him to be the youngest in the world to master the notoriously difficult exam.

Chilimigras' paternal grandfather is an attorney and his maternal grandfather is an accountant, making Chilimigras “the favorite grandson," he said.

Chilimigras only has a learners permit, so he carpools with another student four days a week from Bay St. Louis, where he still lives with his parents. ...

As for the road ahead, Chilimigras isn’t quite sure what will come next. He might travel the world for a few years with a part-time job using his law degree and CPA, and perhaps one day practice tax law and teach.
