July 2020 Bar Exam Chaos Deepens: Nine Ten States (And DC) Issue Announcements

Nine Ten states (and Washington, D.C.) issued bar exam announcements since last Sunday's post:  Arkansas (Order 1, Order 2), District of Columbia, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia.

G. K. Chesterton once remarked favorably over a medieval bell tower next to a cathedral in Italy. Suspecting there was more than he said, I looked it up. The tower took thirty years to build. Three architects were required because at that time a plague was killing about a third of the population of Europe.

And yet this Covid-19 pandemic, killing only a fraction of one percent of those infected, has plunged bar examinations into chaos. I shudder for our country when I think of that.
