Today marked the one year anniversary of my broken finger suffered at the hands (actually feet) of an incoming 1L during the faculty-1L kickball game at Pepperdine Law celebrating the end of our Launch Week for the Class of 2020. So at today's faculty-1L softball game celebrating the end of Launch Week for the Class of 2021, I was greeted by a cardboard cutout memorializing my injury last year:
