New Pepperdine Law School Dean Is 'Just A Mundane Tax Guy'

My News L.A., Presidential Sex Scandal Prosecutor Long Gone From Pepperdine: New Dean’s Just a Tax Law Guy:

While Pepperdine University announced Monday that a tax law expert has been named dean of its law school, it was a far more mundane selection this time around than when the Malibu campus hired an earlier dean who had been Bill Clinton’s special prosecutor involving presidential sex scandals.

Paul L. Caron, currently associate dean for research and faculty development and professor of law, has been selected to formally begin his responsibilities as dean of the Pepperdine University School of Law on June 1.

But some people may still connect the title of Pepperdine Law School dean to Kenneth Starr, who served in that role from 2004 until 2010. Starr will be remembered most as the special prosecutor in Clinton’s Whitewater and Monica Lewinsky c9ntroversies before he arrived at the Malibu campus.
