Mr. MM: I sincerely hope the Commissioner does not "make any comments on this." If he did, the IRS likely would incur civil liability under 5 U.S.C. 552a. If you don't like the law, get the Republicons to change it.

Don't expect Koskinen to make any comments on this. Nor Publius Nadler, nor any other apologists for government malfeasance. Public sector union contracts are sacrosanct, after all. Trump might tweet something, but that's the worst I expect to see happen...

Since you're the resident fake legal counsel for all government malfeasance, would you mind explaining why this individual cannot be fired from the IRS immediately? If I was arrested on charges of distributing methamphetamine for sale, the local credit union I work for would have absolutely no problem letting me go, and I wouldn't blame them...
