Sandy Levinson Receives Hateful Postcard

Sandy Levinson (Texas), who is visiting at Harvard Law School this semester, received this hateful postcard in the mail:

Sandy Levinson

Sandy's wife, Cynthia Levinson, asked folks to share the postcard.

@JM And you have proof it was a hoax? Undoubtedly not, but it fits your narrative. And then @Diogenis makes up a totally fictitious number 73% to make his claim seem more reasonable, because it has a number attached.

Apparently you did not comprehend ADB's post. Question is how many these "hoaxes" have to occur before people stop blaming these incidents on liberals, black students etc. and acknowledge that bigots exist at law schools and elsewhere.

The "defacing" investigation at HLS was never resolved. This incident will probably just lead to another ongoing investigation that will never be resolved because that's is generally how elite schools investigate all "crimes" and incidents of misconduct.

Hate crimes have always been prevalent at elite colleges. However, today people are more willing to speak up and/or contact authorities when these types of incidents occur.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The fact that the photo on the postcard is of the "Petworth House and Deer Park" in West Sussex, England, raises more questions.

I went to college in the 1990s in Illinois with a notable racist (now in federal prison for threatening a judge). He earned a bachelor's degree and a law degree. And in his race-baiting literature and interviews (when the media was stupid enough to play into the sensationalism and give him a forum), he absolutely used language like this.

I doubt this is a hoax. Just because many racists are uneducated doesn't mean they all are, and Cambridge is probably a good place to find educated ones.

You're having trouble reading what I wrote, aren't you? Did the alt-right conference occur at an elite school? Did it involve ridiculous caricature racist language?

The alt-right conference is a perfect example of modern-day racists. The Harvard Law incident is a perfect example of a modern day racism hoax. It falls into the same category as that HLS "defacement" incident, which fell off the earth because it was clearly a hoax perpetrated by the black law students group.

Is this the same Sandy Levinson who repeatedly has called Trump a "sociopath" and referred to Trump supporters as "demented"? Rude begats rude.

There is a 73% likelihood the "note" is bogus. And this is posted on this blog why? Seems like it belongs on the missives of the laughable SPLC.

It's a little scary that this guy knows German

You're having trouble reconciling the truth of what is happening aren't you? I'm sure the Jews staged the alt-right conference in Washington DC, and planted a chairperson who spoke of 'peaceful ethnic cleansing' and that American is a white country for white men.

A liberal sent this note. Hate crimes don't happen frequently enough on elite campuses, so they make up hoaxes. The language in this note is a ridiculous caricature of how racists talk.

I say this all as someone who thinks Trump is a buffoon and his supporters are largely ignorant.
