Supreme Court Denies Cert. In Case Challenging President's Authority To Remove A Tax Court Judge
Following up on my previous posts (links below): the Supreme Court yesterday denied the taxpayers' cert. petition arguing that the President’s authority under 26 U.S.C. § 7443(f) to remove Tax Court judges violates the Constitution’s separation of powers. Kuretski v. Commissioner, 755 F.3d 929 (D.C. Cir. 2014).
