The IRS Scandal, Day 718

IRS Logo 2Breitbart, GOP Sen. Presses Obama Administration On Criminal Probe Of IRS Targeting of Conservatives:

On Tax Day, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) pressed the Obama administration for an update on the criminal investigation into the alleged misconduct of IRS personnel in the handling of conservative organizations’ tax exempt status.

“It’s unclear whether all of these cases are open or closed,” Grassley said Wednesday. “The investigative agencies should account for their work. The scandal damaged the public trust in the IRS. Building back any of that trust requires investigation and accountability for any misconduct.”

In a letter to the Acting Deputy Attorney General Sally Quillian Yates and the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration J. Russell George, the Iowa lawmaker requested more information about the investigation — or lack thereof.

Conservatism is the blind and fear-filled worship of dead liberals.

Oh, Elmer Stroup, I'm happy to concede to Publius Novus that Democrats are the most conservative of all--they're trying to conserve all the qualities of Pharoah's Egypt, the make-work government projects, the stifling state control, the slavery, the gigantic state apparatus, crushing of dissent, subjection of blacks, and even denigration of the Jews. Truly, among Democrats some things never ever change. That makes 'em the champion ultra-conservatives.

In contrast, those who are called conservative in modern American vernacular are trying to conserve the values of the American Revolution, which compared to 5,000-year old Pharonic Egypt, is a novelty new as yesterday.

PN, you lost a lot of credibility with that cheesy, fact-free comment.

Mr. wodun: It would be more descriptive and accurate to write "since conservatives instituted Jim Crow laws in the South."

It was rather strange to see Holder pat himself on the back for championing civil rights while he has been the biggest enabler of their abuses since Democrats instituted Jim Crow laws in the South.
