Holy cow. Northeastern's long-time tax prof died about a year ago or so; an event covered by TaxProf. Last February, Northeastern sent out a call for a Tax VAP, which was also covered by TaxProf http://taxprof.typepad.com/taxprof_blog/2014/02/northeastern-seeks.html. Let's put aside whether it is even appropriate for a law school to not have a permanent tax professor. Not only do I not see Northeastern listed in this post anywhere, I do not see any visiting or adjunct tax profs on their website, and the only existing faculty member who teaches tax is 1) not a tax attorney and 2) is only teaching State & Local Tax. Is it possible that dear Northeastern has become so negligent in its course offerings (long a sore spot among its students) that it is not even offering an Income Tax course this year, to say nothing of Corporate, International, a dedicated T&E tax course, etc? That is certainly the impression I am getting here.
