I have spent the past three days at a meeting of the LexisNexis Law School Publishing Advisory Board at the Wynn Las Vegas. (LexisNexis is the publisher of my Graduate Tax Series line of books for use in tax LL.M. programs.) It has been a fascinating opportunity to participate in discussions about how a for-profit publisher can help law schools and law students navigate through the current crisis in legal education. I gave a talk on the use of blogs and social media. Next month, I will have the opportunity to engage these issues from a non-profit perspective at the 24th Annual Conference for Law School Computing at Harvard Law School as President of the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) Board of Directors. I will also reprise my talk on blogs and social media.
