On the audit of an Obamacare critic: "Tucker has until the December 26 to pay a fine of $4,000 for the year 2003 and $2,000 from the year 2010, though he maintains that his tax record is clean and he shouldn't owe them anything."
I'd like to see some real reporting on this. It's a plausible story, but believable only if the taxpayer is willing to show his documents and explain why the IRS thinks he owes money. This doesn't sound like an audit---it sounds like a collection effort. What is a fine on 2003 taxes doing there? If the taxpayer hasn't heard about that before, that's odd.
