I don't think we have seen proof that the Administration "cooked" unemployment numbers. I also do not think we have seen proof that the IRS or Administration denied exempt status to organizations for political reasons. This was likely more of a reaction to trying to determine the correct treatment under Citizens United and the vague regs uncer 501(c)(4). The only apparent scandal is someone trying to make a scandal out of nothing, potentially harming the reputation and careers of many innocent people.

When one considers the recent revelation that Obama, who transferred the Census Bureau under the authority of the White House, used the bureau to cook the unemployment numbers for his re-election, then it's logical to accept that the IRS attack on conservative voices during the election was part of a larger and on-going culture of fraud and corruption by the White House to re-elect Obama. If Obama was a college coach, the NCAA would make him forfeit his wins and the college would fire him for cheating. Our nation should be so lucky.
