Back in San Diego

Usd_photoI am back in San Diego for my seventh summer teaching Tax I at the University of San Diego School of Law, my second as the Herzog Summer Visiting Professor in Taxation.  San Diego is truly America's Finest City, with spectacular weather, natural beauty, and a dizzying array of things to do. But what is even more enjoyable is renewing acquaintances with the many friends we have made over the years here (not to mention satisfying my hankering for this).

An eight dollar hamburger? Dude, save some serious bucks at In-N-Out, the SoCal original!

Paul, I saw the pictures of your "hankering," and it's going to kill you. We wouldn't be able to find someone else to fill your shoes here, so take it easy on the grease. Have a good working vacation, and enjoy a beach with no oil.

I see a second home issue arising here sooner or later.
