Canadian Law Faculty = 'Psychotic Kindergarten'

The Guardian, Improbable Research: Canadian Law Faculties 'Like Psychotic Kindergartens':

A mighty steam organ of an article, adorned with the title University Legal Education in Canada is Corrupt Beyond Repair, blasts forth in the October 2009 issue of the scholarly journal Interchange. It's the handiwork of Robert Martin, professor of law, emeritus, at the University of Western Ontario.

Martin warms up with a little tune about university students: "Each fall, a horde of illiterate, ignorant cretins enters Canada's universities. A few years later, they all move on, just as illiterate, just as ignorant and rather more cretinous, but now armed with bits of paper, which most of them are probably not able to read, called degrees." ...

Martin lets loose with his central theme – legal education: "When one observes a dismal current reality, there is a tendency to assume that there once existed a golden age. The best that can be said is that there was, in the 1950s and 1960s, a bronze age. During this period, some Canadian law faculties managed to reach the level of second-rate American law schools." ...

"There are two phrases that can be used to describe every law faculty in Canada. The phrases are: 'feminist seminary' and 'psychotic kindergarten'."

It should be pointed out that the University of Western Ontario's law school ranked 13 out of 16 Canadian law faculties in research. Now I get an anecdotal sense of why that might be:

I personally have always thought of David Duff as a psychotic feminist [or is it a feminist psychotic?]

Thank god for prof Robert Martin making a very valid truth known. He simply underlines the level of education in all legal faculties in Canada .If he thinks for one moment that is bad . Well now i have some really bad news for him. It is the same in all european universities teaching law apart from two institutions in England they are: LSE in London the university of Nottingham TrentIn the north of England. Forget all the rest as lost to all hope. The level of entry level students into law faculties In England is a shame. They could barely pass a primary school entry exam. We are about to let loose so many hopeless and useless people into the legal profession with useless pieces of paper that will serve as law degrees as to frighten all nations involved. I know I will be dead by the time the next batch is let loose on us all . God help you all .
