Linda Stiff Retires From IRS

Dow Jones reports that Linda Stiff is retiring as Deputy Commissioner for Services and Enforcement after thirty years at the IRS.  She will be succeeded by Steven T. Miller, currently Commissioner of the Large and Midsize Business Division. Ms. Stiff served as Acting Commissioner of the IRS for seven months in 2007-2008 following the departure of Mark Everson.
