Nicolas Cage, IRS Face Off Over $6.3m Tax Bill
I previously blogged (here and here) actor Nicolas Cage's $666,000 tax settlement with the IRS for the 2002-2004 tax years. The IRS now has filed a tax lien against Mr. Cage to collect $6.3 million for 2007:

Nicolas should go straight to the local Sheriff's office and file a complaint against the IRS and have this claim revoked, if the Sheriff uses his constitution authority, he can stop the IRS in it's tracks, case closed

It seems amazing to me that Nicolas Cage is facing this tax bill right now. Firstly because its his second time in trouble with them in less than a year, you'd think he'd learn the lesson the first time....Don't mess with the IRS.
Secondly, the guy makes $12 million per film, you'd think he could easily come up with the $6 million and change to satisfy the IRS. Could there be problems we don't know about. Drugs? Gambling? Madoff?
