Emily Houh and Betsy Malloy Awarded Professorships at Cincinnati

Houh_2MalloyCongratulations to my friends and colleagues Emily Houh (left) and Betsy Malloy (right), who have been awarded well-deserved professorships at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.  From the Dean's announcement:

Dean Louis D. Bilionis has announced the award of two professorships:

  • Emily M.S. Houh, as the Gustavus Henry Wald Professor of Law and Contracts. Professor Houh's scholarship focuses on the intersection of contract law and critical race theory.
  • S. Elizabeth Malloy, as the Andrew Katsanis Professor of Law. Professor Malloy's scholarship focuses on health law and disability law, and she also has written several influential articles on the First Amendment.

Emily and Betsy are ideal law professors -- thoughtful and productive scholars, award-winning classroom teachers, and committed and effective leaders within the school and the profession.
