Law School to Remove Name of Donor Who Used Racial Slur

On Tuesday, I blogged the controversy at Roger Williams University -- Ralph R. Papitto School of Law, with students and alumni calling for the removal of Mr. Papitto's name from the law school following his resignation from the university's board of trustees for his use of the N-word during a board discussion of diversity.  Yesterday, Mr. Papitto issued a statement reporting that he had asked the board of trustees to remove his name from the law school, and the board announced that it would accept Mr. Papitto's request.
