Death, Taxes, and April 15 17

Each year as the tax return due date gets closer, we find the government filing more tax cases. These prosecutions are most likely timed to offer an increased deterence to those who might be considering not filing, or not paying what is due. But the government also wants to send a message to think twice if considering any tax scheme to defraud the government.
