The U.S. Congress will vote before July 4 on legislation to spare more multimillionaires from the federal estate tax after efforts to fully repeal the levy failed, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist said. Frist, a Tennessee Republican, said Republicans would add inducements to the measure to attract votes from Senate Democrats who opposed repeal on June 8, when a procedural measure that would have led to a vote on full fell three votes short.
