We are pleased to release our first “TCJA Navigator,” a hyperlinked version of the Conference Committee’s tax reform bill released on December 15th.

This Navigator includes a table of contents organizing the tax bill by subject matter, with hyperlinked page numbers that will take you to the section at hand.

Am I right: the final version eliminates ("suspends") all miscellaneous itemized deductions, including 212 investment-related expenses and expenses up to income for 183 activities? This certainly doesn't square with the narrative that this bill is a gift to the wealthy. It also doesn't square with any conceivable norm for taxing net income.
