Weekly Legal Education Roundup

In regard to UNT exceeding its expectations for applications to law school. Dean Royal Ferguson and his team are taking the holistic approach to admissions. Why is anything out of the norm so hated? Could it be there is more than one solitary way--LSAT and UGPA--of selecting quality candidates to attend law school.

And I understand UNT is abandoning the final exam as the single grade. Besides the final, UNT will provide feedback and multiple grades throughout the semester so students will know if they are not learning a subject along the way instead of after the semester when it's too late to do anything about their deficiencies.
