My New Digs

I have spent the past week moving into my new faculty office at Pepperdine, complete with spiffy ocean view (and patio):

One of the inevitable benefits of working at a university whose campus sits on a big hill in Malibu, CA. In my opinion, the most beautiful college location in the country.

Rub it in, why don't you!

(Actually, I love the view of the mountains from my current office in Denver, which is better than any I've ever had in my life; during a three year stint in a windowless office when my wife had to call me to come home when blizzards were starting up because I had no idea what the weather was outside - not that blizzards are a big problem at Pepperdine, I suspect.)

And all I get to look at is Cal State Fullerton. I am making your picture my screensaver. Now we both have great views.
