Why don't we just end the crazy requirement that someone go to law school to become a lawyer? instead, just make them pass the bar exam, and be an apprentice for a couple of years so as to learn ethics and gain a little competence. Then we won't have all these silly young people going to law school in the belief that it will help them get a job, as opposed to thinking it might teach them something.

From the horse's mouth, ladies and gentlemen.
