Historians Give President Obama a B- Grade

B-minusHistory News Network, Historians Give Barack Obama a B-:

HNN recently asked 203 American historians to grade Barack Obama's presidency on an A-F scale.

The results are in: President Barack Obama gets a B-. ...

We polled 679 American history professors via email beginning in April at 56 top colleges and universities (as ranked by the 2013 U.S. News and World Report), including small liberal arts colleges and service academies, to give Barack Obama a letter grade on 15 separate metrics, plus an overall grade (not a composite). We received responses from 203 historians. We then converted the letter grade to a 4.0 GPA scale (using the conversion guidelines laid out by the College Board), calculated the mean letter grade, and reconverted to a A-F scale.

Eisenhower was similarly derided and is now seen as one of the best presidents.

Stupid to ask that question now. He gets an F from me.

I always did very well in history, so my college regret is that I didn't have such a grading push-over as my cultural anthropology professor.

Given the low state of historical literacy in the country I wonder what grade Professor Obama would give the historians?

It's called "the soft racism of low expectations", and it permeates academia at all levels.

Heh, this is like an inverse grade of the state of academia in the history department.

I give historians an F+ grade.

For a President, B- is a failing grade.

Why not poll some STEM and Econ types, all of whom are totally under-represented in SCOTUS, POTUS and COTUS, though they're lousy with History majors. I'll bet Obama would get an F, ignorant as he is of STEM and Econ.

I'm going to wager that these 'historians' all voted for this empty suit. To this day I am completely befuddled how any intelligent person could have ever voted for him.
B- ?!

Shame on all of you.
