I love the comment: "Now the economy's on the mend." Tell that to the ever increasing number of those forced out of labor participation. And, while the topic is clearly about only federal income taxes, which is what funds federal operations, the left-wing TPC brings in other taxes to skew the results in favor of their agenda. In addition, it leaves out households that don't even file returns. The TPC has no credibility.
It's easy to change this statistic about (tax filing) households paying taxes. Just attack businesses so much that they cut back on hiring lower income workers. Unemployed people don't count unless it's to raise the number of people dependent on government.
