Muller: The Most Liberal and Most Conservative Law Firms

Following up on my previous post, Anderson: The Problem Is Not Just IRS Lawyers; The Problem Is All Federal Government Lawyers: my Pepperdine colleague Derek Muller ranks the most liberal and conservative law firms by their lawyers' contributions in the 2012 presidential campaign. Check out Derek's detailed analysis, including three fascinating charts:

  1. Percentage of law firm attorney contributions to Obama or Romney (>15 attorney contributors)
  2. Percentage of NLJ 100 law firm attorney contributions to Obama or Romney
  3. Percentage of Vault 100 law firm attorney contributions to Obama or Romney

Here is a taste, showing the attorney contributions of the Top 25 NLJ 100 law firms:

Query if the fact that President Obama was a University of Chicago law professor before he entered politics had any influence on who large law firm lawyers chose to support?
