Hmmm...I wonder what competing industry in Tennessee would lobby for high beer taxes?

At today's exchange rates, UK duty of 55.4p per pint is equivalent to $8.20 per US gallon...

55.4p per pint is on 5 beer; at 4.7% (and converting in the right direction for US/UK gallons!) it should be $5.24 per US Gallon. Not quite so bad, but still don't feel sorry for anyone in the US...
