University of New Brunswick Seeks to Hire a Tax Prof

UNBThe University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law seeks to hire an Assistant Professor to begin July 1, 2013:

The Faculty welcomes applications from outstanding scholars with expertise in the areas of corporate law and income tax law, both personal and corporate, with knowledge of complementary private law fields. ...

UNB's Faculty of Law is a collegial community with a deep commitment to its 250 students. We pride ourselves on having one of the most structured JD programs in Canada. All faculty members contribute to and are committed to sustaining our core curriculum which includes compulsory courses in all three years. ... Founded in 1892, the Faculty is home to the UNB Law Journal/Revue de droit de l'U N-B. The Faculty is situated in Fredericton, the capital city of New Brunswick, and offers many opportunities for collaborative work both inside and outside the University.

The review of applications will begin May 1, and will continue until the position is filled. Interested applicants are required to submit a curriculum vitae, transcripts of university study, a brief statement of research interests and teaching experience or potential, representative sample(s) of research work, and the names, postal and e-mail addresses, and telephone numbers of three referees to: Acting Dean John Williamson. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. However, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority. Applicants should indicate current citizenship status.
