Paul, you're letting your basic decency get the better of you. It was a nasty and insubstantial campaign much like Bush's reelection in 2004. It solved nothing and will likely leave the country even more polarized. See following story.

The majority voted for a raid on the Treasury and the producers. So, here we go again, trying to tax and spend our way to prosperity.
I agree with Paul in that this is democracy at its best, which is not good.
Democracy: Two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner.
Representative democracy: Two thousand wolves and one thousand sheep electing two wolves and a sheep who vote on what to have for dinner.
