Batman, Bane (Bain), Romney, mass murderer.... I'm beginning to see connections.

That may explain the daily postings here on Romney's tax returns from leading authorities, such as the following:

Could Romney Get Audited? -- Mother Jones

In 2009, IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman announced that the IRS had created a new task force to audit people he called "global high wealth individuals." ...They often have an intricate web of related business entities.... In other words, they're people like Mitt Romney.

...Romney is “exactly the kind of taxpayer the program was designed to look at," says Rebecca Wilkins, a lawyer at the Center for Tax Justice.... Romney’s return from 2010 (the only completed one he's released so far) weighs in at 203 pages; 55 pages are simply devoted to disclosing the existence of a host of foreign transactions in tax havens like the Cayman Islands. ....

There's no telling whether Romney deserves an audit or would pass one. But as long as he doesn't release his tax returns, speculation will continue about what's on those returns and whether they need a good look.

A 203 page tax return?! Doesn't that prove that he's trying to hide something from the IRS? And, who knew that Romney had an account in the Caymans?! That automatically classifies him as a "tax cheat." -- Cayman Island Office Building Home to 9,000 U.S. Tax Cheats

Can't we stop all the speculation and posturing? Can't we dispense with the continuing impartial studies of law professors? Can't we go ahead and lynch Romney right now?! And, don't forget, he's a Mormon.

Why won't Nancy Pelosi release her tax returns? What is she hiding? Has she cheated on her taxes? We don't know.

Facing questions about why she and other top Congressional officials won’t release their tax returns, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) downplayed her previous demands for presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney to release his, calling the issue a distraction. . . . “We spent too much time on that. We should be talking about middle-income tax cuts,” Pelosi said after answering two questions about the issue. . . .

If the shoe was on the other foot and it was Obama with bank accounts in the Cayman Islands and Switzerland, you can bet that the right wing loonies would be going bonkers with their outrage. Talk about un-American! Foreign bank accounts! But since it's Romney, it's all "Move along, nothing to see here..."

As for lynching, well, that's a right-wing thing....

It's a good thing Nancy Pelosi isn't running for President otherwise she'd probably be taking a lot of flak for not releasing those.

the real anon, I doubt it. Normally people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks, but the press covers for its friends, which includes most Democrats. It's a blot on the mass media that I now know more about the college record of the mass murderer in Colorado than I do of Obama's.
