Nice diagram, but it woudl be even better if it used an average of the past 5 years of giving percentage for the candidates (if available).

It seems a little unfair to compare the actual POTUS to a potential POTUS, for any number of reasons. If you look at Obama's tax return for 2007, which would be somewhat more comparable to the GOP candidates, he only donated 5.6% of his income. It's still a higher percentage than Santorum or Gingrich, but much lower than Romney.
