A total of 55 farmers cashed federal crop subsidies worth more than $1 million each in 2003 through 2005. ..."Current farm policies are obscenely expensive, doling out $25 billion in subsidies each year. Most of the money goes to commercial farms, where average household income is $199,975 and average net worth is almost $2 million."

So, when are the corporation bashers and Wall Street protesters going to start occupying farms? Frankly, they should also be occupying some of the homes of those 49.5% of people who pay no income taxes, too.

I guess your reaction to this chart depends on whether you believe there are too many escaping taxation or too few earning enough to be taxed.
