Law School Applications Fall 15%

The total number of applications and applicants for the Class of 2015 at ABA-approved law schools as of January 13, 2012 were (via ABA Journal, Above the Law, and Legal Skills Prof Blog):

  • Applicants:  31,815, down 16.7% from last year
  • Applications:  233,361, down 15.3% from last year

I am not up on the number of slots for 1Ls in US law schools. It would be nice hearing from som enlightened sources as to at what number the open slots for an entering class will exceed the number of applicants.
