Great professor, gentleman, and a gentle man. Friend and mentor.

I remember Leo Raskind very fondly. He was the senior tax person at Minnesota when I joined the faculty in 1986 and helped me enormously to learn the ropes of academics. Prof. McCouch and I were privileged to spend time with Molly and Leo in Jupiter, Florida, after he retired from the Minnesota faculty. I mourn his passing and hope to honor his legacy as I teach my students the wonderful game of tax.
