The Canary in the Law School Mine: Texas Schools Cut Size of 1L Class

The ABA Journal and Texas Lawyer report that three Texas law schools have cut the size of their first year classes:

  • Texas:  -3.8%
  • St. Mary's:  -9.6%
  • Houston:  -18.2%

oh, I can't resist...GOOD!!! Law schools are professional schools and should thus respond to the needs of the market in this manner...and while we are at it, how about closing all California non-ABA approved schools and some of the 3rd and 4th tier private degreee mills?
