This is the most balanced treatment of the candidates' proposals that I've seen this year. Furthermore it puts the proposals in proper context, showing that the math simply doesn't work and why.

This report makes it obvious that we will get more tax increases than either candidate is proposing. It might be a Value Added Tax or Cap and Trade (higher energy prices due to emission license fees to the government) or it might even be regular out in the open income tax increases.
