Senate Holds Hearing Today on Federal Estate Tax Alternatives
The Senate Finance Committee holds a hearing today on Alternatives to the Current Federal Estate Tax System. Here are the Tax Prof witnesses scheduled to testify:
- Lily Batchelder (NYU)
- Joseph Dodge (Florida State)
- David Duff (University of Toronto)
In connection with the hearing, the Joint Committee on Taxation has released Description and Analysis of Alternative Wealth Transfer Tax Systems (JCX-22-08) (26 pages).
