Highest (Bridgeport, Philadelphia, Providence) and Lowest (Anchorage, Cheyenne, Jacksonville) Tax Cities
The District of Columbia Office of the Chief Financial Officer has released annual reports that compare the rates and burdens of major taxes in the District of Columbia with states and other large cities in the United States, and that analyze the relative tax position of the District compared to surrounding jurisdictions:
