If you want to see the faculty's resolution of no confidence in Dean Bernard Dobranski which the Ave Maria BOG rejected and which led to the faculty's ABA Complain see the WSJ Blog Link here. It seems to have flown under the radar

Those who hate the dean's support of the school's move to Florida are trying to get him fired. They have been extremely unprofessional in riling up students and alumni into a frenzy about a matter that is NOT theirs to control.

The whining faculty members pretend that the administration has done something unjust or immoral, when in fact the admin simply made a major decision - with no moral implications whatsoever - that the whining faculty members do not like.

Reality Check said "The whining faculty members pretend that the administration has done something unjust or immoral, when in fact the admin simply made a major decision".

This shows how out of touch with reality he/she is. A central point is that it was one man, Tom Monaghan, not "the admin", that "simply made a major decision". He decided to move to Florida autonomously and then used financial coercion (serving as the primary donor and Board Chairman) to yank the Board along. The Board's "choice" was close or go to Florida. And what is in Florida? Are the tomato fields of the Corkscrew Swamp in the "best interest" of the School's mission? No. The Law School is being used to prop-up Monaghan's Ave Maria University (where he is Chancellor and Board Chairman) and Ave Maria Town (where Monaghan derives a significant benefit UNRELATED to the law school by owning personal property, a host of local businesses from home/road materials to Ave Maria Utilities, and a local bank). Go read about it at http://www.avewatch.org The reality is that realty - Tom Monaghan's realty - is pulling apart the Law School. The COI is mind-boggling.
