Winner of TurboTax Tax Rap Contest

TurboTax today announced the winner of the $25,000 grand prize in its TaxRap contest: It's Just a Breeze ... G, by Christian Pulfer, a 28-year-old real estate investor from Brooklyn, NY:

I am happy to say that this was one of the six (out of 370) entries I recommended on TaxProf Blog.  Here's my favorite line of the rap:

Soon all my clients were dropping like giants.
Turbo tax is the David to the CPA Goliaths.

From the press release:

Carl Tietze from Portland, Ore., was named the $5,000 first-place winner, and Rhett McLaughlin and Zink Neal from Fuquay-Verina, N.C., were the $1,000 second-place winners. The winners were selected from the 13 finalists who garnered top votes from YouTube viewers. ...  Collectively, the [370] rap videos were viewed more than 2.5 million times.
