Blogging: Junior Faculty and Gender

My post on Friday's AALS panel on Blogging: Scholarship or Distraction? has attracted quite a bit of attention in the blogosphere, particularly (1) Randy Barnett's comment that junior faculty should not blog, and (2) the question from the audience about the lack of women bloggers and the lack of women on the blogging panel:
