Pinochet Indicted on Tax, Not Murder and Torture, Charges

Add former Chilean dictator Augustus Pinochet to the long line of miscreants arrested on tax charges when authorities have been unable to make a case on more important substantive allegations:

Two days short of his 90th birthday, Gen. Augusto Pinochet was placed under house arrest Wednesday at his Santiago mansion for alleged tax evasion -- not the thousands of deaths and disappearances for which opponents have long tried to have him imprisoned.

The fact that Pinochet himself reformed the entire judicial system is part of why authorities have been unable to make a case.

Pinochet's only crime is he fought fire with fire.

He exterminated the most murderous, disgusting animal the 20th century ever produced, the communist revolutionary, a creature responsible for the death of almost 100 million human beings and the enslavement of half the globe. The Bolshevik filth never got their fangs into Chile, thanks to Pinochet.

Oh, but you disapprove of his methods? Go cry me a river, you spoilt brats. Ask the millions of murdered Chinese and Russians and Cambodians what they wouldn't have given for a Pinochet at the right time and at the right place, to abort that bloody monster in it's infancy.
